Ketamine Ketamine is a unique anesthetic in the sense that it does not block pain, but instead shuts off the brain from the body. And when it does that, it effectively puts a person in a hallucinogenic state. This is the reason why ketamine abuse and ketamine addiction is extremely dangerous.

Default Ketamine as replacement of cocaine

They said goodbye to cocaine, and welcome a new substance – Ketamine. In a recent British Crime survey, it showed that the drug increased in UK by 10% on year 2006-2007. It is replacing cocaine as the preferred substance among middle class users.

Yep, Ketamine is also being used for veterinary medicine. Vets usually used this to tame or to sedate horses…ketamine blocks away pain.

Other terms used for Ketamine includes “raver’s smack” and “special k.” It’s kindda weird though why it is also called as “raver’s smack.”

Yes, Ketamine is now widespread as one of the abusive drugs. Unlike cocaine, this one is more on that “euphoric mind” where everybody is having a great time. This is very visible among rave parties where people are dancing and having a great time (a not so good way of having a good time).

most likely cocaine is more expensive since they call it the champagne drug.

ketamine is far less expensive than cocaine generally retails in the u.k. at £10-£15 a gram (powder) where as cocaine you are talking £30 - £45 for a gram

Smile ketamine is terrible!

i live in England and probably live in one of the worst affected areas in the country by ketamine. i know alot of people whos lives have been ruined because of ketamine. i have friends of 19/20 years old who are fitted with catheters because of the damage done to their kidneys through ketamine use. i know people as young as 15 who are doing 4-5 grams of ketamine a day and are having to go to hospital on a regular basis to have treatment on their kidneys.
once in your body ketamine re-crystalises in your kidneys and also damages your stomach immensly. also your nose will obviously be damaged!
over the last 3 years i have watched too many people that i care about waste their lifes away because of this drug.
after seeing so many of my friends lose everything because of it and always slating them for it, telling them they wer stupid and dirty for doing it.
i did it, and yes im not going to lie it was great, at times, one minuite i would be in complete euphoria but the next i would be hysterically depressed.
after this first time i swore i would never do it again, however sometimes i would give in to tempation and do it again. it really is extremely addictive, at the time you want more and more. personal tolerance increases dramatically aswell, the first time someone does ketamine they may only snort a pintch however a few hours later they will need double/triple the amount!
i have had trips that when i explain them now seem hillarious but at the time i was scared senseless!
i was in no way addicted, just in a bad place in my life. however now the thought of doing it really does make me sick to my core!
ketamine can also have major effects on future pregnancys, deformities, brain damage etc have been reported from ex-users.
people seem to know nothing about this drug, and to be honest i wish i didnt! the only reason i know so much is through personal experience.

in England ketamine is only a class c drug! lower than weed!
how i do not know! maybe the government wants a few more young people to ruin their lives or even die before they will do more about this drug.

i really cant stress enough that ketamine isnt something you want to get into, from the first time you do it you will realise it wasnt a good idea, however its so addictive many people dont stop.
i go to alot of raves and have watched the party scene be ruined by ketamine, instead of the happy lively and friendly atmosphere i loved at raves, its now turned into a tense, lifeless place full of "zombies" trying to dance but being incapable!

ive experimented alot over the last few years, and my biggest regret is ketamine.

i hope i've been of some help to someone
