Default How long for body to get back to normal

Hi,
I have been taking Hydrocodone to control my Fibromyalgia pain for about 7 years. When I found out about 3 years ago it can cause an increase in pain levels, plus many other things, I decided to cut down on my dose.
So I went from about 25-30 mg/day and then about 18 months ago I took just 5mg/day (cut into three parts).
About 2 months ago I stopped taking Hydrocodone completely, but I was still using some NSAIDs to control the pain, but only about one every second day. Which I have now stopped taking them for about 10 days.
My question is can anyone give me an idea on how long for the Hydrocodone to stop affecting my body. I still have sleep problems, Abdominal pain, headaches, eye strain, rough voice.
I have read on numerous websites that it can take 2-3 months for everything to settle down. But recently I saw a doctor at my usually place (but not my own doctor) about sinus pain and when I said that I have stopped using Hydro and mentioned the 2-3 months. She said it will be a lot longer because the opiates attach to numerous receptors in the body (brain, spine, Abdominal nerves).
Thanks for any replies.
