Studies show that Wellbutrin is just as effective as ritalin. It might be worth looking into if the patient is allergic or have some side effects arising from the use of ritalin.

Also, no drugs are going to help without behaviour therapy/modification.

You need to do both to make it successful.

Hmmmn... I would think that they are different treatments for ADHD. Of course they go hand in hand because both behavior modification and psychostimulants have been known to be effective for ADHA. But the absence of one will not make the other less effective. It's just that, taken together, their therapeutic effects are magnified.
