My Doctor Prescribed This For Me

I have problems sleeping at night. I lay awake thinking of all my problems and end up with a panic and end up going into the living room watching QVC all night.

My doctor prescribed 20 pills for me but I've been afraid to take them because of all the horror stories I've heard. I took one pill about a month ago and it did put me to sleep all night but I still don't use it. Sometimes I take a Paxil to help me sleep but I know that isn't safe either.

I wish there were some safe drugs out there so that people like myself who have a lot of personal problems and can't control how we act because of them, can find some safe drugs to help us live a little more comfortably.

I have a lot of trouble sleeping as well; however, I have not been brave enough to use any of the prescribed medications until now. I am really worried about the price I'll have to pay for a good night's sleep. Thus, I stay awake pretty much until I black out. It is not a pleasant way to live, but I prefer this to having a load of side effects to deal with in the longterm.

I have taken various kinds of sleeping meds but nothing that was prescribed to me. I have found with things like Tylenol PM that I wake up feeling really out of it for several hours the following day. I don't know if Ambien does the same thing but keep that in mind just in case.
