I took during my pregnancy with my son and he's been diagnosed.

Do not use Effexor without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Do not give Effexor to anyone under 18 years old without the advice of a doctor.

i have been on effexor xl for 2 years now and i dont have a problem with it as it is one of the older depressants so has less side affects that alot of the newer meds do i suffered very bad depression and crippling anxiexty back 2 years ago when i was on a mixture of valium zopiclone pregablin and mirtazapine of which i think caused me to become addicted to the medication and in turn caused my suffering to be made worse
