I've read that one too. Cocaine use fell to 0.41% of tested workers from the 2007 level of 0.58%. Metamphetamines fell from 0.14% to 0.11%. On the other hand, amphetamine use more than doubled from 5.3% to 12.5%!

Wow... and to think that they tested more than 5.7 million people during the period covered!

It may not be as bad as it looks. Amphetamines have approved medical uses, and it has seen more and more prescriptions for ADHD in the past year, that could have accounted for the rise!

Well, one positive thing from the study is that it has found less and less people were using drugs. From 13.6% in 1988 to 3.6% in 2008

That is quite good news to hear, I have an old friend that abused for a while but I am happy to say he has been clean for many years.

I recently found out that amphetamine can be quite easily made at home-can't remember the ingredients though-sounds lethal-I wouldn't dare!
