Apparently Mrs. Tom Brady knows how to pick a football team (and by "football," we mean soccer). Sports blogs were abuzz yesterday with reports that Gisele Bundchen has made $1 million since December by placing weekly bets on one soccer team - Inter Milan. (Something called the Metropolitan Post is credited with breaking the news.) Richard Gardner, manager of the Bodog Sportsbook gambling site, tells us that winning a million bucks by betting on just one team is possible but unusual. "Normally, if you do that with any team, with any sport, you're not going to have that result," Gardner said, adding that the supermodel's success probably has to do with her bankroll and the fact that you can bet more in Europe. Gardner warns, though, that winning streaks don't always last. Her husband can tell her all about that.

No I don't think she is, for one, she must make tons of money so she can very well afford it.

I am not sure if that is a correct gauge of gambling addiction. If you can afford it, does it mean you're not addicted? Too bad nothing about the article says something about how Gisele is behaving. Is she missing out on some important photoshoots? Not show up at an event where she's supposed to be? Debt problems?

I agree, unless it affects other aspects of her life, we can never say if its addiction or not.

Many celebrities gamble hundred of thousands of dollars, it doe not mean much to someone if you have millions I guess.
