a lot of college students are taking smart drugs like ritalin and adderall to help them keep alert and study for the exams. do you think this is true?

Yeah i've heard that as many has 4 to 7 percent of college students have used ritalin or adderall to have pre-exam all nighters, that's out of a survey of 10,000 students.

i still think that even if ritalin helps you with the short term it's only an temporary fix. you should just study and all.

well, we all have had our all nighters. mine was coffee. i used to drink coffee for like every all nighter i get.

the problem with these drugs is that you really don't know what you're gonna get. the long-term effects is still relatively unstudied and the side effects are very apparent.

You have to remember that taking ritalin or adderall to make you smarter is an off label use of both, meaning the FDA has not approved of it or there is no study yet to prove that they do make you smarter!

I think most kids do not appreciate the fact at how lousy these smart pills can react with other drugs. They sell them or take them without thinking of the ill effects!
