Women clinging to a bad relationship

There are some women who cannot live or shall we say, who tend to be lost without a man in their lives. They tend to cling to the relationship even if the men in their lives treat them badly or brutally beat them and they tend to choose the men over the children. Is this some kind of love addiction as defined in this forum?

Ya according to me some women are still there who are totally dependent on men.Its a kind of love addiction.
