Confessions of a Facebook games addict.

I am a Facebook user for almost a year before I started getting addicted to games. First, it was Fashion Wars and then Vampire Wars. I then moved on to Mafia Wars and played that simultaneously with Farm Town. I now play like 15 games (VW, FW, MW, FT and Farmville, Sorrority Life, etc) And I find that all of these games are very addictive! I admit that I'm addicted because I play even at work, sometimes I miss out on some tasks because I have to check my farm or kill someone.

I think these games are very addictive because more than the game itself, it allows you to interact with other people. You can send them messages in the game, you can work on their farms, give gifts etc. So the games are good, but I think it is the interaction that hooks you.

I agree with you that these games are only half as addictive as they should be without the interaction going on.

For my part, I like the way that these games seem to pit you against other people, even telling you if you have been attacked or robbed Yes, I play Mafia Wars.

Hmmn... I think it would do you good to cut down on a number of games you play.

Yes I agree. I mean MW and VW are sort of the same game, only one deals with mafias and the other vampires. IF you play both farmville and farm town, then you might as well just choose one.

I was heavily addicted to farm town before. I used to plant only grapes. You know how I overcame it? I planted those crops that take 4 days to be harvestable. Now I play Farmtown only once in four days

That's a great idea... but it will make you slower in leveling up, doesn't it?
