I think that strong parental guidance would really help. You should also educate yourself as parents. If you see a warning sign then talk to your kid. But you couldn't do that without first knowing what to look for.

Do not understatement the power of values being instilled deeply and early on. These values can guide the kid to whatever he or she faces, be it peer pressure or temptation.

Drinking is not a good habit .everyone starts with small level and later it will become an addiction so i recommend you just escape it leave it.

Upon reading down all your comments and suggestion it bring greater enlighten to my mind being a parent.

As a parent is has really a crucial role and should establish a great/better contribution towards his family. I may say...what you sow is what reap. There was a friend of mind that his mother become mistress and look their child turn to be a drug addict and my God...so lazy at all.

But one thing, It depends also on the perception of the child. I for one come from an alcoholic father and have many wife. But I was able to stand out my two feet without the help of my father. Now I'm a successful degree holder.

To my in, i think 90% of miserable family and the life of children become a miserable too.

If only the head of the family can stand firm which way his child go when it grows up. Its should be that way.
