Propofol, said to be the cause of Michael Jackson's death has been seeing a lot of media coverage lately, but I don't think it's listed here. Anybody has the skinny on Propofol? All I know is that it is an anti-depressant.

Well if it is, then Jacko's death wouldn't have been a surprise. Propofol kills, big time!

I saw Uri Geller on ITV1 some time ago, saying that he never saw Michael take something. He did recount, however, being unable to wake Michael.

Diprivan is a brand of propofol and is a dangerous sedative in itself, but it is much more dangerous when taken with other sedatives. Experts have said that people die at a much faster rate with propofol than any other sedatives or drugs for that matter.

I have a friend who was addicted to propofol. She had family problems so she wanted to escape it all, she also found migraine relief from propofol.

Nothing is final yet, but they do suspect that the Jacko died from propofol because it was one of the drugs found at his house.

A report has been released earlier this week regarding the true cause of MJ’s death. It confirmed that it’s indeed a lethal dose of anesthetic propofol, according to a search warrant affidavit that was unsealed in Houston August 24. The LA County coroner’s office reached that conclusion after MJ’s autopsy.

Dr. Conrad Murray had already admitted earlier that he administered propofol to Jackson the morning of his death. He also told detectives that he was treating the pop star for insomnia for six weeks before he died. In fact, he had been intravenously giving MJ 50 mg of propofol every night.

It has several uses in anesthesia and sedation, including induction of general anesthesia in adults and children, maintenance of general anesthesia, sedation for intubated, mechanically ventilated adults in the intensive care unitcolonoscopy and endoscopy, and dental surgery; it is also commonly used in veterinary medicine.
